Transport of schoolchildren to swimming lessons in Langenfeld and Hilden, 2027–2028

Summary

The City of Langenfeld is procuring transport for pupils and accompanying staff to swimming lessons during the second half of the 2026/2027 school year and the 2027/2028 school year. The regular service comprises 27 weekly journeys for municipal schools in Langenfeld to the town swimming pool and three weekly journeys for Bettine-von-Arnim Comprehensive School to Hildorado in Hilden; the schedules indicate approximately 30 passengers per municipal-school journey and 56 per comprehensive-school journey. Around 30 additional journeys per school year within Langenfeld are also included. The contract runs from 1 February 2027 to 7 July 2028, with an option to extend for two further school years, until 24 June 2030; during Hildorado’s approximately two-week summer closure, the comprehensive-school journeys go to the Langenfeld pool instead.
