Bus transport services

Summary

Umeå Municipality is procuring bus transport services in two lots. Lot 1 covers swimming trips for school pupils and other journeys ordered by schools and municipal departments, such as educational visits, excursions, conference and information-day travel, and, where necessary, evacuation transport. Vehicles must have up to 22 seats or more than 22 and up to 55 seats, and must be appropriately sized for each journey. For swimming trips, pupils must be dropped off 10 minutes before their swimming time and collected 20 minutes after it ends, unless otherwise agreed. Lot 2 covers journeys by buses with up to 55 seats for schools and preschools travelling to cultural events within Umeå Municipality, including theatre and dance performances, museum visits, library activities and concerts. The service does not cover sports events, sports days, swimming pools or other school activities. Journeys take place during school hours, 08:30–15:30, and must be booked at least 10 days in advance. The estimated total contract value is SEK 65,000,000. The framework agreement runs from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2031: the initial term is two years, with two one-year extension options. A tender may cover up to two lots, and a tenderer may be awarded up to two lots. No tender guarantee is required, and invoices must be submitted electronically.
