Hazardous-material removal and partial demolition of the administrative and toilet block and classroom container at In der Wasserkuhl Catholic Primary School

Summary

The City of Leverkusen is procuring hazardous-material removal and demolition works at the In der Wasserkuhl Catholic Primary School. The works cover clearing, hazardous-material removal—including asbestos, mineral wool, PCBs, PAHs and heavy metals—and demolition of a classroom container of approximately 140 m² and an administrative and toilet block of approximately 380 m², together with a canopy and parts of the outdoor facilities. The scope also includes sorting and removing waste, excavation, protecting utility lines and backfilling; some work will take place while the school remains operational. The contract is not divided into lots and is planned to last 10 weeks from 8 March 2027.
