Retrofit of Video Recorders and Interior Cameras in Tram Vehicles

Summary

This is a market consultation by Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe AG to identify technical solutions for upgrading onboard interior video surveillance in trams. The aim is to replace or modernize obsolete video recorders and adapt the interior cameras. The initial scope covers 42 NGT D12 vehicles, with an optional extension to 40 NGT D8 vehicles; a pilot conversion of one NGT D12 vehicle is planned for 2028, followed by approximately 6 to 8 vehicles per year. Participants must submit the completed questionnaire and price sheet by 30 October 2026 at 13:00. This is not a binding invitation to tender and participation does not create an entitlement to a later contract.
