Environmental studies for the B 62 underpass near Malkomes

Summary

Hessen Mobil is procuring environmental planning and survey services for the planned replacement of the B 62 underpass near Malkomes, which crosses the Solz stream, the former Kreisbahn route now used as the Solztal cycle path, and a farm track. The work includes a landscape conservation plan, flora and fauna surveys, an FFH assessment, a species-protection report and a reduced environmental comparison of project alternatives. The landscape-plan study area is approximately 60 hectares, and the fauna survey area, including its buffer, is 176 hectares; up to three main options will be compared in detail.
