Security services for Jobcenter Mannheim

Summary

The contract covers security, guarding and locking services for Jobcenter Mannheim buildings for an initial two-year term starting 1 January 2027, with four options for the contracting authority to extend the contract by one year each. Security services are required at Ifflandstrasse 2–6, Hebelstrasse 1 and the Maybachstrasse 10–12/Pettenkoferstrasse site. Duties include access checks, visitor management and enforcing site rules, protecting staff and preventing conflicts, as well as opening and closing the Ifflandstrasse building and carrying out patrols. When requested, at least two additional guards must be available within 60 minutes to accompany Jobcenter staff on external visits, court appointments, home visits and assignments at other sites; a replacement guard must be provided within 30 minutes of an unexpected absence. The tender requires a service price and a description of contract-specific quality and security management; these award criteria carry weights of 30% and 70%, respectively. Variant bids are not permitted. The bid must be submitted electronically in German with the required documents. The bidder must hold a security-services permit, have relevant experience, hold ISO 9001 certification or an equivalent, and provide suitably trained and qualified staff.
