Construction and liability insurance for SEBD sewer and special construction projects

Summary

The City of Düsseldorf, through its municipal drainage operator (SEBD), is procuring combined construction works insurance and liability insurance, including environmental liability and environmental damage cover, for sewer and special construction projects from 2027 to 2030. The insured works include sewer, civil engineering and earthworks; construction, alteration, repair and refurbishment of wastewater facilities and structures; and related pipelines, roadworks and preparatory investigations. The expected average annual gross construction value is EUR 25 million, with a four-year insured-value cap of EUR 120 million. The procurement is for one combined insurance contract, with no separate lots.
