Citrix Licences 2027
Summary
The procurement covers converting Max Planck Society’s existing perpetual on-premises Citrix licences into time-limited subscriptions for “Citrix Universal Hybrid Multi Cloud” or “Citrix Platform” and consolidating licences from six organisation IDs under one central ID. The licence count will increase to 4,300. The transfer must be completed after contract award and no later than 12 January 2027. The contractor must provide qualified staff to support the transfer at no extra charge and, if needed, resolve issues with assistance from Citrix support. The contract starts on 1 January 2027 and runs for 60 months; all licences are to have a common term from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2031. An additional 500 licences must be offered for future expansion, with optional orders in batches of 50; the buyer is not obliged to purchase them. The estimated volume is 4,300 licences per year, with a maximum of 4,800, and there is no minimum purchase obligation. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 12:00 on 3 November 2026. Price is the sole award criterion, and the compliant bid with the lowest evaluated price will win. Bidders must provide the required company and suitability information, a Citrix partner-level certificate no more than three months old, and the required insurance and exclusion-ground declarations.
