Sentinel satellite data analysis for the Area Monitoring System

Summary

Baden-Württemberg, through its Ministry of Rural Affairs, Agriculture and Home Affairs, is procuring a framework agreement for Sentinel satellite-data analysis for the Area Monitoring System. The work covers monitoring agricultural parcels for crop type, agricultural activity, cultivation events such as ploughing, and basic checks for ineligible features and non-agricultural or non-homogeneous use, together with data processing, result delivery, algorithms, project coordination and reporting. The initial term is expected to run from January 2027 to 31 December 2028, with three optional 12-month extensions through 2031. The system covers approximately 1.4 million parcels; no lots are provided for.
