Maintenance and upkeep of forest roads in the Neustadt forestry district

Summary

Staatsbetrieb Sachsenforst is procuring forest-road maintenance across the western part of the Neustadt forestry district, primarily in the Hohwald, Stolpen, Massenei and Fischbach areas. The contract is divided into three lots: mulching verges, ditches, slopes and machine tracks and cleaning asphalt roads; cutting back vegetation to provide road clearance; and levelling forest-road ruts and regulating roadside ditches. The estimated quantities include 75,000 m of verge mulching, 15,500 m of clearance cutting, 14,500 m of rut levelling and 18,000 m of ditch regulation, alongside other measured work and limited machinery time charged by the operating-hour unit.
