Technical expertise for verification and validation of the Adaptation Benefits Mechanism methodology in Central and West Africa

Summary

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is procuring independent technical expertise to assess and validate Adaptation Benefits Mechanism (ABM) methodologies and project documents, and to verify reported adaptation benefits. The assignment covers four small-scale climate adaptation projects, one each in Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal and the Republic of Congo, including methodology assessments, project validation and monitoring-report verification. Services are planned from January to November 2027.
