Rental of Video Surveillance Towers at the KHD Site in Cologne

Summary

NRW.URBAN is procuring the rental of six solar-powered, fuel-cell video surveillance towers for the former KHD site in Cologne, including delivery, installation, servicing and maintenance. The service includes continuous 24/7 monitoring by the contractor’s security control centre, image assessment, alarm follow-up and security-service intervention when alarms occur. The rental is scheduled from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2028, with an automatic six-month extension to 31 July 2028 if ownership has not transferred by then; transfer of the site may lead to earlier termination on four weeks’ notice to the end of a month.
