10046006- Development of methodologies to scale the Intrinsic Ecological Value as an evaluation tool for Nature

Summary

GIZ is procuring consultancy services to design, implement and evaluate a pilot of the Intrinsic Ecological Value (IEV) climate-finance instrument in Cambodia. The work will cover pilot-site selection, carbon and water monitoring, reporting and verification, project registration and voucher issuance, governance and market testing, policy and regulatory analysis, stakeholder engagement, training, and scale-up recommendations. Each IEV unit will represent one verified tonne of CO₂ removed and water stored. The assignment is scheduled from 2 December 2026 to 30 June 2027, with six reports due between 2 and 24 weeks after contract award.
