Groundwater Quality Investigation

Summary

The City of Halle is procuring a groundwater investigation at and downstream of the former ORGACID chemical warfare agent factory in Halle-Ammendorf. The work includes groundwater level measurements at 34 existing monitoring wells and sampling at 15 wells, with laboratory testing for specified contaminants. The contract also covers interpretation of the results, assessment of contaminant movement and risks, maps and a report with recommendations for future monitoring and further action.
