Development and deployment of a CARICOM ABS permit system
Summary
GIZ is procuring the development and deployment of a regional CARICOM online access and benefit-sharing (ABS) permit system, with national portals for Belize, Grenada and Saint Lucia. The system will support electronic permit applications and approvals, authorities’ processing, and monitoring of compliance with benefit-sharing obligations. The 18-month assignment also covers testing, documentation, training, deployment and ongoing support.
