Preparation of Straelen’s 2027 wastewater and stormwater management plans

Summary

The procurement is for preparing Straelen’s 2027 wastewater and stormwater management plans. The work covers an assessment of the existing drainage system, wastewater forecasts and rehabilitation measures, stormwater management and climate-risk considerations, costed digital measures planning, and supporting reports and data for review and approval. Straelen’s system includes approximately 132 km of sewer lines, 3,767 pipe sections, 3,814 manholes and 21 pumping stations. Optional work includes a separate infiltration-water plan and detailed hydraulic and pollutant-load calculations for sensitive discharge points. The completed plans are due to the city by 31 March 2027.
