Assessment of the crested newt’s conservation status in four sample areas in Brandenburg
Summary
Brandenburg’s State Office for the Environment is commissioning surveys of the conservation status of crested newt populations in four of the state’s eight sample areas. The four lots cover Plagefenn and Lietzen/Döbberin in 2027, Königsberger See/Kattenstiegsee in 2028, and Schwenow Forest/Reichhardsluch in 2029. The work includes population, habitat and impact assessments, surveys of amphibians and reptiles, and delivery of a digital report and species-record data.
