Moving services in Münster

Summary

The procurement is for a call-off framework contract, starting on 1 November 2026 and running until 31 October 2030, for office, furniture and archive moves for LWL and its local facilities within Münster. Work will be ordered as needed and may range from full-day moves of entire buildings or sections to smaller hourly assignments and packing or carrying work. Services include planning each move; providing suitable vehicles and packaging; protecting goods and premises; dismantling furniture and, usually, other equipment except IT devices; loading and securing goods; transport; and unloading, reassembling and positioning furniture at the destination. The contracting authority normally packs, unpacks and shelves archive files. The price schedule gives estimated quantities: 890 hours per year for furniture movers and packers, 70 hours for an N1 vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes with driver, 145 hours for an N2 vehicle of 3.5–12 tonnes with tail lift and driver, 3,250 moving cartons and 100 archive cartons. Actual demand may vary, and payment is based on services actually performed and accepted. Bidders must also price optional services, including transport tubs, bubble wrap, setting up a no-stopping zone, an external lift, surcharges for heavy items and night, Sunday and public-holiday work, and, if required, electrician, locksmith and carpenter services. Travel costs must be included in the prices and will not be reimbursed separately. Offers are assessed 70% on price and 30% on a separate, project-specific contract takeover and delivery concept. The concept must address project management and communications, scheduling, logistics and vehicles, protection of goods and packaging, staffing and occupational safety, risk management, and environmental impact reduction. The bidder must provide the required company and turnover details, staff numbers and qualifications, at least two comparable moving-service references, and the required declarations. Short-notice assignments must be deliverable within 2–3 working days.
