K9 road carriageway renewal between Bisterschied and Teschenmoschel

Summary

The contract covers renewal of the K9 road carriageway on an approximately 1.6 km stretch between Bisterschied and Teschenmoschel. A new 10 cm asphalt surface will be laid over the existing road, comprising a 6 cm binder course and a 4 cm wearing course. The works also include renewing the road shoulders and partly surfacing them with asphalt, improving soil with cement, cleaning ditches and culverts, adjusting farm-road connections to the new road level, renewing road markings and replacing 37 delineator posts. The road will be fully closed to traffic during construction, and the works must be completed in 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically through the contracting authority’s platform by 09:00 on 20 October 2026. The bid remains binding until 19 November 2026. The contract is not divided into lots, and price is the award criterion. The bid must include the required forms and suitability self-declaration. Tenderers should also allow for traffic management, appointing a health and safety coordinator, preparing the safety plan, and providing evidence of material and work quality.
