Roadworks, road markings, and cable and duct installation in Glockengarten

Summary

The procurement covers road and asphalt works, road markings and traffic signs, and civil engineering for laying cables and ducts in the Glockengarten area of Bochum. The works involve medium- and low-voltage power cables, telecommunications cables, PVC ducts, and street-lighting cables and ducts; existing lighting equipment is to be removed, with new poles installed as a separate work activity. Excavation must be coordinated with the road and sewer works and other utility operators, existing live services must be protected, and the bid must allow for temporary connections and work outside the main work area. Cable-laying is included in the bid; depending on the work package, cable installation and lighting assembly are performed by the contracting authority or its appointed contractor.
