Supply of mineral water to primary and special schools

Summary

The City of Castrop-Rauxel is seeking framework agreements for supplying mineral water to the open all-day programmes of eleven primary schools and two special schools. The water must be supplied in reusable 1-litre PET bottles, in still, lightly sparkling and sparkling varieties, with the corresponding deposit crates. Empty bottles and crates must be collected at each delivery. Estimated total demand is approximately 10,000–12,000 crates per year, but this is not a binding minimum quantity. Orders will be placed as needed and must be delivered within five working days of receipt. The procurement is divided into two regional lots, and bids may cover either or both lots. The contracts start on 1 December 2026 and initially run until 30 November 2027. The contracting authority may extend them twice by one year, for a maximum total term of three years. Price is the sole award criterion. The bid deadline is 21 October 2026 at 10:00. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Ruhr metropolitan procurement portal; alternative bids and multiple main bids are not permitted. Bidders must confirm their suitability, submit the required forms and declare that no exclusion grounds apply. Suitability declarations cover turnover from comparable services during the last three completed financial years, comparable experience during the last three completed calendar years, workforce, register entries, membership of the relevant employers’ liability insurance association and liability insurance. No minimum turnover is specified. The bidder considered for award may be asked to provide evidence for three references.
