Bottled Water Supply and Water Filtration Equipment Rental

Summary

Cascais Próxima is procuring bottled water and the rental of water-filtration equipment in two lots, with continuous supply. Bidders may tender for one or both lots, but must price every item in any lot they choose. Lot 1 covers 0.33 L, 0.5 L and 1.5 L bottled water; the water must meet the composition and quality parameters in the tender documents, and its packaging must be 100% recyclable. Lot 2 covers five drinking-water filtration units to be installed at Cascais Próxima’s premises in Manique and Carcavelos. The units must dispense chilled, ambient-temperature, hot and sparkling water and provide the specified filtration, disinfection, monitoring and user-interface functions. Rental includes filter replacement, preventive maintenance, cleaning and technical support at no additional charge. The total estimated ceiling is EUR 135,000 excluding VAT: up to EUR 125,000 for Lot 1 and EUR 10,000 for Lot 2. Maximum unit prices are EUR 0.16, EUR 0.18 and EUR 0.41 per bottle, respectively, EUR 70 per unit per month for rental, and EUR 42.35 per 600 g food-grade gas cylinder. VAT and a EUR 0.10 deposit per package are added to bottled-water prices. Quantities are estimates and the buyer is not obliged to purchase all the goods. The contract runs for 12 months and may be renewed once for an equal period, up to a maximum of 24 months or the contract value, whichever occurs first. Bids must be submitted electronically by 5 October 2026 at 23:59, remain valid for 90 days, and will be evaluated on price alone.
