Interior door works for the 12-unit apartment building, Kirschgarten Phase 1

Summary

The contract covers the supply and installation of apartment entrance doors, interior doors, and steel and fire doors for a building with 12 publicly subsidised apartments in the first phase of the Kirschgarten development in Handorf, Münster. The works include, among other items, 12 apartment entrance doors, steel frames and interior doors, three sliding doors, four 30 S fire doors and three steel cellar doors, together with the specified fittings and installation. The entrance doors must, among other requirements, meet resistance class RC2 and sound insulation of at least 32 dB; the fire doors must have a thermal transmittance of U = 1.80 W/(m²·K). Offers are evaluated on price; alternative tenders and multiple main tenders are not permitted. The offer deadline was 22 October 2026 at 10:00. Work must begin no later than 12 working days after the client’s instruction; installation of steel frames and doors is planned for calendar weeks 9–10 of 2027, and door leaves for weeks 39–40. The bidder must submit the required priced schedule, suitability self-declaration, valid tax-exemption certificate and preliminary site layout plan with its offer. The bidder must also meet the stated experience, workforce, tax and social security requirements and comply with the contract conditions. Annual maintenance of the four fire doors is offered for a four-year term, but the client reserves the right to decide whether to award that maintenance work.
