Maintenance of State-Owned Watercourses in Nordvorpommern 2026–2027, Lots 1–3

Summary

The tender concerns a framework agreement for maintenance work on state-owned flowing waters in Nordvorpommern in 2026–2027. It is divided into three lots: the Barthe, Recknitz and Trebel rivers. The work includes felling and removing trees from waterways, cutting shrubs, trimming branches that obstruct the watercourse, supplying and laying natural stone gravel, and call-off work using manual crews, tipper trucks, low-loader trucks, crawler excavators and workboats. Watercourses must also be inspected immediately after storms, with observed obstructions, fallen trees and other irregularities documented and promptly reported to the contracting authority. The Barthe lot additionally includes work on the restored river: selective mowing, collection and compliant disposal of cut vegetation, topsoil profiling, alder planting, and removal or replacement of fences, planting supports and marker posts. To protect mussels, mowing must remain at least 40 cm above the riverbed, and marked structural features must not be damaged.
