Ostzingst Storm Surge Protection and Sundische Wiese Renaturation – Construction of Surface-Water Gauging Stations

Summary

The contract concerns the construction of surface-water gauging stations in the northern and southern areas of Ostzingst, in the Sundische Wiese area. The contractor must set up the site and bring the required machinery, equipment, materials and staff; build 4 Type 1, 5 Type 2 and 3 Type 3 gauging stations; survey their positions in ETRS89/UTM 33N and their elevations in DHHN2016; and prepare paper and digital as-built plans, including location data in Shape-file format. Materials are paid for separately. Supplies include, among other items, 12 retaining posts measuring 2.5 m, steel protective tubes, fittings, staff gauges and stainless-steel small components. The work takes place on land designated as contaminated by unexploded ordnance. Safety instructions must be followed, unidentified objects must not be touched, and any suspected ordnance must be reported and marked immediately.
