Framework agreement for tree care, tree remediation and felling works

Summary

Forst (Lausitz) is seeking a framework contractor for tree care, remediation and felling in public areas across the city and its ten districts. Work will take place along roads, in green spaces, at public facilities and cemeteries, across approximately 250 sites; the city’s tree register contains about 10,500 trees. The work includes, among other things, felling, stump and root grinding or removal, crown and routine pruning, crown-support installation and maintenance, hazardous insect control, and traffic-safety measures. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028, with an option to extend it by one year. The estimated annual work value is approximately EUR 220,000 including VAT, but the authority guarantees neither this value nor the forecast quantities; work will generally be commissioned through separate task orders. Tenderers must provide the required registration and professional qualification evidence, financial and tax documents, turnover figures for the last three years, relevant references, a workforce overview and a list of the equipment needed for the work. A European Tree Worker must be present at each tree-care site. Rope-access work requires two tree climbers, at least one with an SKT A certificate and one with an SKT B certificate. The bid must include the required declarations and priced schedule; price is the sole award criterion. The bid submission deadline is 26 October 2026 at 10:00.
