Renewal of County Road MSE 78 between Neu Rhäse and Wulkenzin

Summary

The contract covers renewal of approximately 2.43 km of county road MSE 78 between Neu Rhäse and Wulkenzin in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district. The works include rebuilding a 5.5 m-wide asphalt carriageway with a 30 cm hydraulically bound, in-situ base layer (HGT-in-situ using NovoCrete ST 98), a 10 cm asphalt binder course and a 4 cm asphalt surface course. Four cross-drainage structures, roadside ditches, agricultural and property accesses, and two bus stops will also be renewed. The project further includes traffic management, road markings and signs, and planting 56 maple trees. The works require a traffic diversion and continued access for residents and users of agricultural land. Completion is due no later than 7 May 2027. The bid deadline is 29 October 2026 at 10:00; bids must be submitted electronically through the procurement platform. The contract is not divided into lots and variant bids are not permitted. Price is the sole award criterion, with a 15% evaluation bonus for bids from workshops for people with disabilities. Bidders must provide a suitability declaration or prequalification evidence, proof of business liability insurance and evidence of qualification for road-work traffic safety. The company performing the HGT-in-situ works must demonstrate successful previous NovoCrete ST 98 projects, the required quality mark and membership of the relevant industry association.
