Procurement of an Overhead Book Scanner

Summary

The procurement is for one overhead book scanner for the campus library of Berlin University of Applied Sciences (Berliner Hochschule für Technik). The device must scan books, including bound volumes that open to 180 degrees, in colour up to DIN A1 size, both with and without a glass plate, at resolutions up to 600 ppi. It must have a motorised, flexible book cradle and a self-opening glass plate, and provide even illumination, accurate colour reproduction, and high-quality digital output. Image quality must meet ISO 19264-1:2021 Level A up to 400 ppi and at least Level C at 600 ppi. The delivery includes documentation, software, delivery to the site, and user instruction or training.
