Training on the construction of large-scale PV projects

Summary

The tender is for the design and delivery of training on the construction of large-scale photovoltaic power plants. The work includes preparing training materials, technical guides, case studies and practical exercises, and teaching three modules: contract management and project structuring, project scheduling and management, and construction-site management and supervision. Topics include scheduling a 10 MW project, quality and safety control, deliveries, coordination of technical work packages and preparation for commissioning. Two separate in-person sessions must be held in Tunis, each for 15 participants. Each session comprises five training days: one day on contracts, two days on planning and two days on construction. The contractor must provide the training materials and documentation and issue certificates of participation. GIZ will arrange the sessions’ logistics; the contractor is responsible for printing learning materials if needed. The contract runs from 16 November 2026 to 30 April 2027. Tenders must be submitted in French by 21 October 2026 at 12:00 noon Berlin time. Tenderers must submit separate technical and financial bids, an eligibility self-declaration with its annexes, and a CV for each expert. Four experts with specified qualifications and experience are required. The technical bid must score at least 500 points for the financial bid to be evaluated; the technical bid has a 70% weighting and the financial bid 30%.
