Concession for drinking-water supply and sewerage services in Peñíscola

The municipality of Peñíscola is awarding a 25-year concession to manage and operate the municipality’s entire drinking-water supply and sewerage service. The concessionaire must ensure water sourcing and distribution, water-quality monitoring, meter reading and maintenance, customer service and billing, and the operation, cleaning, maintenance and repair of wastewater and stormwater networks. Bidders must demonstrate annual turnover of at least EUR 3,628,206.04 and relevant service experience from the last three years, including management capacity functionally equivalent to at least 14,912 active service contracts. A qualified team, quality and environmental management certificates, and a suitable laboratory for drinking-water testing are required. The bid must be submitted electronically with the required declarations, technical plans and a justified financial plan covering the full 25-year period.
