Replacement of the Max Prüss laboratory vessel’s gearboxes

Summary

The procurement is for two new reduction gearboxes for the LANUK NRW laboratory vessel “Max Prüss”, replacing the existing gearboxes, which have defects and have exceeded their expected service life. The required units are Reintjes WAF 244 L gearboxes or equivalent, with a 3.522:1 reduction ratio, a 215 mm vertical offset, specified rotation directions, hydraulic clutches, pressure gauges, heat exchangers and engine-room automation with oil-level monitoring.
