Flood protection at Canitz waterworks and replacement of the trunk pipeline

Summary

The tender concerns preventive flood protection for the Canitz waterworks and replacement of a trunk water pipeline in Canitz. The works include, among other things, ground and subsurface investigations, removal of existing pipes, installation of a temporary drinking-water pipeline, approximately 2,600 m of sheet piling, reinforced-concrete capping beams and a sealing wall, excavation and shoring, well drilling, and installation of new water, drainage and cable-duct pipelines. The contract is not divided into lots, and variant bids or multiple main bids are not accepted. The works are scheduled to run from 7 December 2026 to 30 November 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 11:00 on 19 October 2026. Price is the only award criterion. The performance security is 5% of the net contract value, and the defects-liability security is 3% of the net final account value.
