Fermenter refurbishment of a 75 L stirred-tank bioreactor CMF400

Summary

This call for tenders concerns the refurbishment of a 75 L stirred-tank bioreactor CMF400. The contractor must replace the CBC 10 control unit with a SCADA system featuring a touchscreen and software, and integrate all required modules in a splash-protected enclosure. The scope includes connections for sensors and digital controllers for temperature, agitator speed, pH, pO2 and anti-foam; pO2 regulation via agitation and aeration; Pt100 temperature sensor connection; power for recirculation pump and interior kettle lighting; mass flow controllers for air up to 150 L/min and for pure oxygen up to 150 L/min; dosing pumps for acid, base and anti-foam; two feed pumps; USB data export, Ethernet, OPC UA and remote access. Additional items cover refurbishment of the agitator shaft mechanical seal (leakage), conversion of the double-walled cooling circuit to the building cooling water, a digital input for scales, and delivery/integration of BlueVary O2/CO2 analyzer, VisiFerm PO2 sensor, EasyFerm pH sensor, and an exhaust analyzer with cartridges.
