Laser replacement and on-site repair of the Applied Biosystems 3500xl Genetic Analyzer

Summary

The tender concerns the on-site replacement of the laser in an Applied Biosystems 3500xl Genetic Analyzer capillary electrophoresis system, including removal of the defective laser, installation and optical alignment of the new laser, system testing, cleaning, spatial and spectral calibration, and a final performance check. The bidder must supply either a new original laser or a demonstrably 100% compatible alternative. For an alternative model, a datasheet must prove technical equivalence and full compatibility with the existing hardware and Data Collection Software. The work must be performed on site and must result in an ISO 17025-compliant service report and calibration records in both digital and printed form. A warranty of at least 24 months is required for the laser and the work performed. The bidder must have at least three relevant reference projects successfully completed during the last 36 months.
