Climate test chamber

Summary

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg requires a mobile climate test chamber for the HERES project to conduct thermal tests on lithium‑ion batteries and other cell chemistries, including simulations of various ambient temperatures and humidity, rapid temperature changes, and storage/operational tests. The contract covers manufacturing, delivery, installation and commissioning of the chamber, along with on-site training and German/English documentation. The chamber should meet defined specifications (minimum internal volume 300 L, internal dimensions 600x800x600 mm, observation window, interior lighting, stainless steel shelves, three penetrations, alarms, at least four temperature sensors, gas sampling/conditioning, overpressure relief, temperature range -60°C to 180°C, humidity control 10–98% RH with ±3% variance, oxygen monitoring, optional air/N2 purge, on-site control and remote access via LAN, data archiving and parameter storage) and be delivered to BTU’s Technikumshalle LG 4C, with installation, commissioning and user training provided. Documentation in German and English will be supplied.
