Summary

The tender concerns conception, organization, implementation, documentation and evaluation of everyday-integrated immersive neighbor-language instruction in eight kindergartens in Frankfurt (Oder) and Slubice, including supplementary learning materials, pedagogical trainings and cross-border sports events as part of the INTERREG VI A Brandenburg-Polen project Grenz-Kompas(s)-Granica. The aim is not traditional language teaching but the natural use of the neighbor language in everyday activities such as play, movement, singing, eating and tidying up. The target group are children in the last two years before school entry. The project aims to reach at least 100 children and establish four cross-border kindergarten partnerships. The contract covers external services for concept development, organization, implementation, documentation and evaluation of the immersion program.
