Microfluidic mixer

Summary

The tender concerns the procurement of a microfluidic mixer for large-scale lipid nanoparticle (LNP) production. The device must enable efficient mixing with low shear, ensure a tight particle size distribution in the 50-200 nm range with a PDI below 0.2, and provide high batch-to-batch and user-to-user reproducibility. It should offer precise control of Total Flow Rate (TFR) and Flow Rate Ratio (FRR, up to at least 10:1); use a cartridge-based system compatible with common 1–30 mL plastic syringes. The system should include automated processes, a user interface, and documentation/validation support; and have scalable integration with a vendor experienced in LNPs for nucleic-acid therapeutics. Technical support should be available in German or English, and the vendor should be able to integrate the system into a broader development/scale-up portfolio.
