Track renewal from Winden to the French border
Summary
The tender covers renewal of the railway track superstructure in Winden towards the French border, approximately between km 40.6+86.1 and km 44.6+18.0. The works include mechanised renewal of 3,619.9 m of track without rails and ballast cleaning over the same length, conventional renewal of 312 m of track without rails, and complete ballast renewal over 287.5 m. In addition, the contractor must install a 30 cm support layer and geosynthetic over a 31.3 m section, remove and reinstall 4 m of existing glass-fibre-reinforced panels, construct 367.1 m of ballast retention using old sleepers, and renew STRAIL-system level-crossing fastenings at the Kapsweyer and Schweighofen crossings. Safety-protection and maintenance works are also included. The work site is Winden (76872), and the contract period is 1 March 2027 to 9 September 2027. The contract is not divided into lots, and price is the only award criterion. Variants are permitted only alongside a main tender. Bids must be submitted electronically by 13 October 2026 at 11:00. Tenderers must meet the stated eligibility and compliance requirements, including providing the required competence and technical-equipment information; certain track and railway-safety works require prior Deutsche Bahn prequalification.
