Design of the replacement of medium- and low-voltage main distribution systems at Wastewater Treatment Plant 1 H30 in Nuremberg
Summary
The tender concerns electrical engineering design services for Building H30 at Nuremberg Wastewater Treatment Plant 1. The scope includes replacing the medium- and low-voltage main distribution systems and two 20 kV/0.4 kV transformers, designing temporary backup power, busbar and cable systems, adapting earthing, lightning protection and equipotential bonding, and integrating the new equipment into the existing control and remote-monitoring system. Network, load-flow, short-circuit, protection-coordination, selectivity, arc-flash and pressure calculations, together with 3D surveying and a BIM model, are also required. The planned service period is from 1 December 2026 to 29 June 2029. Work stages 1–3 will initially be commissioned; the later stages 5–8 may be awarded in stages and the bidder has no automatic right to receive them. Tenders must be submitted electronically in German by 13 October 2026 at 23:59. Price is the only award criterion. The bidder must demonstrate electrical engineering design competence, the specified reference experience, turnover and liability insurance, and must submit the required fee schedule and other documents.
