Design and construction of terminal expansions and aprons at Athens International Airport

Summary

Athens International Airport S.A. is procuring the design and construction of the Main Terminal Building’s South Pier expansion, the Satellite Terminal Building’s western extension and associated apron and airside works as one project. The scope includes approximately 25,000 m² of new South Pier facilities, a 950 m² satellite-terminal extension, about 1,000 m² of alterations to the existing main terminal, additional aircraft stands, passenger boarding bridges and a permanent underground connection between the terminals. It also covers taxiway works, the realignment of a service road and replacement of the A13 fixed link bridge, together with testing, commissioning and handover.
