Main works contract for upgrading the ports

Summary

A/S Storebælt is procuring the main works contract to upgrade Halsskov and Knudshoved ports on opposite sides of the Great Belt so that ferry services can operate between them following a four-week mobilisation period. The works include site and access arrangements, possible temporary work berths, dredging and filling, new quay foundations with sheet piles, piles and anchors, new rock revetments and repairs to an existing breakwater, a marshalling area, and demolition of structures that obstruct the works or use of the upgraded ferry ports.
