Construction of three submarine interconnections: Kalymnos–Leros, Leros–Leipsoi and Lefkada–Sparta–Skorpios

Summary

The Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator is procuring, in one lot, works to build three medium-voltage submarine interconnections: Kalymnos–Leros, Leros–Leipsoi and Lefkada–Sparta–Skorpios. The works include seabed surveys, removal and final management of existing cables, manufacture and supply of 20 kV XLPE submarine cables and related materials, cable laying, burial where required, and testing so the connections are ready for use. The estimated contract value is €58,422,185 and the planned duration is 28 months; the buyer may decide not to carry out the Lefkada–Sparta–Skorpios connection within three months after contract signature.
