Final Safety Report and Periodic Safety Review Support

Summary

The procurement concerns annual updates to the Final Safety Report for the MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant in 2027–2031 and technical and scientific support for the Periodic Safety Review due in 2027, including work on the report documenting the review. The services cover full-scope development, updating and amendment of the safety report for VVER-440 reactor units, monitoring changes to legislation and standards, reviewing safety analyses and source documents, and incorporating relevant changes. The estimated volume is 450 engineer-days for the core tasks and 2,200 engineer-days for individual tasks. This is a services framework contract valued at HUF 774,700,000 plus VAT, with the customer undertaking to use at least 70% of the framework value. The planned term is 60 months, with a possible 12-month extension subject to the stated conditions. Bidders must have experience with at least three full-scope safety-report assignments for a VVER-440 nuclear power plant and provide a team with the specified nuclear-safety experience. Nuclear qualification for work on systems in ABOS safety classes 1–3 may be required to perform the contract. Participation requests must be submitted electronically by 19 October 2026 at 12:00; requests and tenders must be in Hungarian. Tenders are evaluated on net price (weight 99) and delivery of documents on electronic media (weight 1).
