Design and environmental impact assessment services for the modernisation of the Klaipeda wastewater treatment plant

Summary

AB Klaipėdos vanduo is procuring design and environmental impact assessment services for the modernisation of Klaipeda’s municipal wastewater treatment plant. The scope includes a detailed technical design for a fourth treatment stage to remove micropollutants, as well as screening and, if required, a full environmental impact assessment. The selected technology combines ozonation and granular activated carbon filtration, designed for a flow of approximately 3,300 m³/h and at least 80% micropollutant removal. The services also include design proposals, approvals and building-permit documentation; the procurement is not divided into lots.
