Pressure-relieving mattresses
Summary
Vejle Municipality is procuring pressure-ulcer-preventing mattresses under a four-year framework agreement for people receiving assistive devices under Section 112 of the Danish Social Services Act. The procurement is divided into three lots: combination mattresses (an estimated 480 units), dynamic air mattresses (168 units) and foam mattresses (852 units). The mattresses are intended to prevent pressure ulcers across categories 0–4 on the Braden Scale.
