Windscreens for S-type trains

Summary

DSB is seeking a framework agreement for windscreens for S-type commuter trains, including associated safety film and, if new requirements or standards make it necessary, development or adaptation of the glazing. Deliveries are to be made to the S-train workshop in Taastrup. The estimated agreement value is DKK 4.5 million and the maximum value is DKK 15 million; no minimum purchase volume is guaranteed. The ordinary term is six years, with two possible one-year extensions. Tenders will be evaluated on price (50%), quality (30%) and delivery reliability (20%). The procedure includes negotiations, but the contract may also be awarded on the basis of the initial tender. Applications must be submitted electronically by 16 October 2026 at 10:00, and must include a European Single Procurement Document (ESPD). Over the last three financial years, applicants must have average annual turnover of at least DKK 9 million, an average EBIT margin of at least 1.5%, and an average solvency ratio of at least 20%. Applicants must also provide up to three references for supplying glazing for trains or other vehicles during the previous five years. Between one and three applicants with the most relevant references will be invited to tender.
