Main works contract for strengthening the Ballum Dike

Summary

The Brede Å Valley Dike Association is procuring reinforcement of approximately 7.5 km of the Ballum Dike in Tønder Municipality. The works include stripping and moving soil, reshaping and reinforcing the dike with clay and sand, excavating and finishing new ponds, restoring affected areas, and fertilising and seeding grass. The contract also covers transport of clay supplied by the contracting authority and the supply and placement of gravel or crushed concrete to maintain temporary and work roads. The procurement consists of one lot and has an estimated total value of DKK 55 million; the works are planned for 2027–2028.
