Design and construction of the DJ 172 road underpass beneath the railway in Beclean

Summary

The town of Beclean is procuring the design and construction of a road underpass on DJ 172 to improve traffic flow where the road crosses railway lines 416 and 418 near DN17. The single-lot contract includes a new underground passage of approximately 17 metres, with 122.74-metre ramps, as well as associated road and structural works, stormwater collection, utility diversions, lighting, traffic monitoring and road-safety measures. The works also include demolition, restoration of the surrounding area and site setup. The contract lasts 18 months, with 6 months planned for design and 12 months for construction.
