Main construction works to adapt the Arlberg-bound exit at Bludenz station

Summary

ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG is procuring the main construction works to adapt the railway exit from Bludenz station towards Arlberg. The works include a double-track section with a larger curve radius between km 133.900 and km 135.100, designed to raise the permitted speed from 70 km/h to 100 km/h over approximately one kilometre. Related signalling-system adjustments, including cabling and signal locations, will also be carried out between km 129.400 and km 136.286 in the Braz and Bludenz station areas.
