Bridge Structure Maintenance 2026

Summary

The procurement covers three regional lots for minor operational and maintenance works on bridges and other road structures, traffic closures, and, where necessary, repairs following sudden damage. Structures include, for example, overpasses and underpasses, portals, retaining walls, sheet-pile walls, noise barriers, small culverts and road-related coastal protection. The works are carried out on Denmark’s national road network. The lots have a combined estimated value of DKK 135 million. The contract starts on 1 January 2027, runs for four years and may be extended twice, each time for 12 months. A bidder may submit tenders for up to three lots but may be awarded no more than two. Price is the only award criterion. The bidder must demonstrate relevant references from the past five years with a combined value of at least DKK 5 million excluding VAT and provide CVs for a team with the required experience. Tenders must be submitted in Danish; documents supporting participation requirements may also be in English, Norwegian or Swedish. The contract includes a labour clause for public contracts, and invoices must be submitted electronically.
